上期絲路君介紹了四處廣東大草原，最新一波又強勢來襲。帶上三兩好友，一起去爬山、徒步，到草原撒歡吧。即使沒能見到草原，沿途風景也是美美噠。
Last time we introduced four grasslands in Guangdong province, but actually there are eight of them. The rest four may be more difficult to access. Want to challenge yourself？Have a look.
1.Tianma Mountain Grassland（天馬山草原）
Tucked away in the rural area of western Guangdong province, Tianma Mountain Grassland stretches about 6.7 million square meters on the top of the mountain, 1,080 meters above sea level. It is well-preserved and unspoiled, with pleasant weather all year around. Located in the enchanting Tianma Mountain Ecological Tourist Resort, a natural environment which nourishes a few centenarians in the mountain village, the grassland, along with other highlights in this natural forest park, makes a perfect escape for city dwellers to refresh themselves and embrace nature.
Admission: 60 yuan for adults: 30 yuan for students, the elderly and children about/above 1.1 meters but below 1.4 meters
Opening hours: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Location: Wangjiang village, Beijie town, Xinyi city（廣東信宜市北界鎮旺將村）
Transportation: Drive from Guangzhou to Tianma Mountain Ecological Tourist Resort through Guangfo (Guangzhou-Foshan) Expressway, Guangsan (Guangzhou-Sanshui) Expressway, Guangyun (Guangzhou-Yunfu) Expressway. The trip takes about five and a half hours.
2. Bapai Mountain Grassland (paradise for hikers)（八排山草原）
Bapai Mountain, with an altitude of 1,080.5 meters, gets its name from the eight smaller mountains it encompasses. The fifth highest mountain in Luoding city boasts a natural garden and a grassland on its top, which the locals call, Tiantangding (Paradise Summit). It is a marvelous vision against the blue sky. In spring, the mountain top is said to be strewn with flowers blossoming in a riot of colors. Cattle can be seen strolling on the grassland. It is a place where you can immerse yourself in nature and relax.
The scenic area is mostly untouched and you may need to study the hiking trails and find your way up to the summit. The hiking may take a full day.
No opening hours are set, and no ticket is required.
Location: Chuanbu town, Luoding county-level city, Yunfu city（廣東省雲浮羅定船步鎮）
Transportation: Take a bus at Jiaokou Bus Station, Guangzhou to Chuanbu town, Luoding city. It takes about three hours. Then take a motorbike or rent a bus to the power station where the hiking starts. It takes another one hour.
3. Chuandiding Mountain Grassland（船底頂大草原）
This venue is for backpackers only.
As a mountain grassland which somehow escapes developers' attention, Chuandiding Mountain Grassland is breathtaking amid rolling hills and an amazing variety of landforms. But to access it is not without challenges. Rising at over 1,300 meters above sea level, the flat grassland is preceded by hundreds of meters of toilsome uphill climb, a difficult bamboo forest and a vast steep and slippery grass slope. As a challenging yet popular trekking destination for backpackers, it requires long mountain walks and some risk-taking, but the reward is more than worth the effort. Get some company and be informed and prepared as fully as possible before you start the adventue, which could take two days and two nights.
Location: Luokeng town, Qujiang district, Shaoguan city（廣東省韶關市曲江區羅坑鎮）
Transportation: Drive from Guangzhou to Luokeng Primary School through Airport Expressway, Daguang Expressway and Leguang Expressway. It takes about two and a half hours. Start hiking from the primary school.
4. Tianmen Gorge Grassland (currently closed) （天門溝百鳥堂草原）
Tianmen Gorge Grassland is known to few people because of its seclusion and difficult access.
Located in the unspoiled Tianmengou Scenic Area, the grassland is the last stop beyond a stony corridor of ten thousand-odd steps that leads to more and more challenging yet fascinating spots. It has a beautiful name-"Bainiao Tang (Bird-gathering pool)" because of the birds it attracts with it lush vegetation and rain-filled depressions.
The grassland is totally untouched and currently closed to visitors because of potential risks and difficulties of management. But, the tree houses, the crystal clear streams and the magnificent waterfalls in the scenic area would make up for the disappointment.
Location: Shimen Nature Reserve, Weizi village, Shigutang town, Yingde county-level city, Qingyuan city（廣東省清遠市英德石牯塘鎮八寶圍仔村石門臺自然保護區）
Transportation: Take a train from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Yingde West Station. A bus bound for Boluo Town can take you to the Scenic Area.
Notes: The ticket prices and opening hours are subject to change at the discretion of the scenic areas. Some of the grassland have not been officially developed as scenic spots, therefore no ticket information and opening hours are given. Visitors are advised to make full preparation before exploring the untouched areas at their own risks.
