'I am a confidence man不是“自信的男人”，意思差遠了！

1、You are a confidence man

confidence是自信，但confidence man則是外國人常用的一個口語說法，專門指詐騙錢財的騙子，正確表達有自信的人，可以說I am a confident man.

例句：

①The confidence man befooled the innocent.

騙子愚弄了幼稚的人。

②We finally realized that he was a confidence man.

最終我們發現他是個騙子。

2、have confidence in

have confidence in的意思是“對某人有信心”，很多人都在on和in之間徘徊，兩者讀起來都很順口，一不小心就誤寫了on，但正確答案只有have confidence in，別再用on啦~

例句：

They have confidence in me.

他們對我有信心。

3、with confidence

with confidence=confidently意為“滿懷信心地”，因為兩個都是做狀語，with confidence是介詞短語作狀語，confidently是副詞短語作狀語。

例句：

We can look ahead into the new biennium with confidence, hope and resilience.

我們滿懷信心、希望和達觀的心情展望新的兩年期。

4、be confident in

上司交給你一個重要任務，證明對你的能力很有信心，這時我們就能用到be confident in,其後面接某人，表示對某人充滿信心。

例句：

You must be confident in what you do.

5、be confident about

跟be confident in 對比，be confident about 後面接某事，表示對某事充滿信心。

例句：

“We still have to be confident about next season”he said.
