Anna聽了之後，先是一怔，然後撲哧笑了起來，美麗的女孩笑成一朵花。她告訴Bruce，你把carry the can 意思理解錯啦！carry the can 是一個英語習語，意思是“代人受過，承受責難”。其實也就是我們常說的“背黑鍋”。Carry the can for sb 是“代替某人背黑鍋”，也可以carry the can for sth 為某事背黑鍋。Anna的意思是，老闆對我們本月業績不滿意，我們要代替經理背黑鍋了。Bruce知道意思後，感覺自己平時沒有用功學英語，有點丟臉。
