李敖：這是我生平最喜歡的一首歌

Danny boy《丹尼少年》最初傳自愛爾蘭,已有幾百年的歷史,據傳是一位愛爾蘭父親寫給即將從軍的兒子，告訴他說，當你下次回來的時候，我大概已經躺在墳裡，就像整個夏天的過去，花朵的凋零，就像你現在要走，也不能挽留......

《Danny boy》全球共有200多位歌手翻唱過這首歌曲，視頻是凱爾特女人 的現場演唱。

李敖大師曾說 Danny Boy ：是我生平最喜歡的一首歌。歌中寫情人在生死線外，幽明永隔，死者不已，生者含悲，纏綿淒涼，令人難忘。我一直想把這首歌譯成中文，但是遷就用韻，未能如願。一年前我試譯了一半，還沒譯完，就入獄了。今天上午整理舊稿，發現了這一半譯文，決心把它譯完。花了一個半小時，用直譯意譯混合法，居然把它譯成了。
